THE ELEPHANT MENUS
Having grown up on a farm in Western Maryland prior to studying at the French Culinary Institute and serving as the Pastry Chef at The Plaza Hotel’s Oak Room in NYC, Mallory Staley – The Elephant’s General Manager/Co-Owner – is “thrilled that we get much of our bounty from farmers all across the state and from watermen up and down the Chesapeake Bay.”
Using these just picked and just caught products, our menu selections are infused with spices from around the world and transformed with a variety of cooking methods to create globally inspired dishes. From Moroccan Tagines to a San Francisco Fisherman’s Stew, the menu at The Elephant is based in part on the world travel experiences of The Elephant’s other two partners: Linda Brown Rivelis, President/Co-Owner and Steven Rivelis, CEO/Co-Owner.
Here are some of our recent menu offerings. Please note that all of these items may not be available when you visit as the menu is constantly changing, sometimes daily, to take full advantage of the best and freshest ingredients which arrive at The Elephant every morning from our famers, fisherman and other purveyors.
